Membrane Chemist · 107820
Research covers recyclable polymer membranes for aqueous flow batteries. The role requires a chemistry, chemical-engineering or related PhD awarded within three years or completed before starting, plus polymer synthesis, membrane fabrication and transport-characterisation experience.

This role develops thermal-system design and control tools using Modelica, Python and AI. It seeks a relevant engineering or computer-science PhD, HVAC or cooling-system knowledge, thermo-fluid modelling and hands-on experience.
Required documents: cover letter and CV/resume. Advertised salary: US$8,266–8,921 monthly. The two-year appointment requires less than three years of paid postdoctoral experience. On-site or hybrid work is preferred; hybrid staff must live within 150 miles of the Lab.
Hoffman Distinguished Fellowship · 107655
This nuclear-nonproliferation fellowship requires a technical PhD and less than three years of paid postdoctoral experience at the expected 1 October 2027 start. U.S. citizenship is required for DOE Q-clearance eligibility.
The advertised annual salary is US$110,000. Materials include a CV, tailored cover letter, one-page PhD thesis summary and two recommendation letters. The narrative describes a two-year fellowship, while the appointment section states through 31 December 2029; confirm the contractual dates with the hiring team.
