Vacancies may change. The two geospatial disciplines carry a specific creation, approval and sanction condition for regularisation; read the notice’s footnote.

Annexure-I identifies suitable benchmark disability categories by discipline. Check both the advertised PwBD allocation and the applicable suitability entry.

Eligibility and pay: use the correct recruitment rule

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Eligibility is assessed at the online closing date. The detailed advertisement states no upper age limit, subject to university superannuation norms.

Annexure-II provides separate recruitment-rule links for all 24 disciplines, covering qualifications, relevant branches, experience and pay. Download your discipline’s rule alongside the advertisement.

CSE example: do not generalise it to every discipline

The Computer Science & Engineering rule specifies Level 10 with entry basic pay of ₹57,700. Its qualification routes include relevant BE/BTech and ME/MTech with first class in either; first-class MCA plus first-class MTech; relevant first-class BE/BTech with GATE and PhD; first-class MCA with a relevant PhD; or a relevant first-class integrated MTech. Each route is subject to the rule’s branch lists and conditions.

CareerAidHub advice: Match the exact degree names, marks and specialisation in your records to the chosen rule. Where equivalence is uncertain, seek clarification from DTU before relying on a broader interpretation.

Dates, fees and application procedure

Online submission opened on 23 October 2026 at 11 a.m. and closes on 7 December 2026 at 5 p.m. Access the application through DTU’s recruitment notice on its website.

Fees: UR/OBC ₹2,000; EWS/SC/ST ₹1,000; PwBD exempt. Concession or exemption applies only against an appropriately reserved post. Payment is online and non-refundable.

Submit separate applications and fees for different disciplines. Submitted details cannot be corrected.

Printed documents: a later stage

Only candidates notified in the consideration zone must send a signed printout and self-attested evidence. The receipt deadline will be announced separately. Address: Recruitment Cell, Room 818, 8th Floor, AB-3 Block, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi 110042.

Planning advice: Save the submitted form and fee receipt. Keep a clearly labelled evidence folder ready, then follow DTU’s later instructions for the printed package. Allow time for delivery once the receipt deadline is announced.

Screening and selection

Initial screening uses PhD 30, pre-PhD degree 60 and relevant qualifying test 10 points. Later stages include document and point verification, a teaching presentation and interview. This is distinct from the separate academic/research assessment table.

Preparation advice: Recalculate each claim against the official table. Keep the supporting certificate or publication beside the relevant entry. For a teaching presentation, practise explaining one topic clearly, with a defined learning objective and a short way to check understanding.

Build a focused faculty application

The following is CareerAidHub editorial guidance, rather than an additional DTU requirement.

  1. Start with discipline fit. Identify the advertised field that matches your training and work. A broad research interest alone may not resolve a degree mismatch.
  2. Organise the CV for assessment. Use clear headings for qualifications, appointments, publications, projects and teaching. State your own role accurately.
  3. Prepare an evidence index. Give every claimed item a file name and page reference so that you can find it quickly during verification.
  4. Check consistency. Compare dates, marks, category details and degree titles across the form and certificates before submission.
  5. Monitor the university notices. Set aside time to check for corrections, lists and the later document-submission schedule.

Career Accelerator Program support

CareerAidHub’s Career Accelerator Program offers profile review, opportunity mapping, tailored academic CV and research or teaching statement feedback, outreach planning and one-to-one mentorship.

For faculty applicants, support can help connect teaching experience and research contributions to the role being pursued.

CareerAidHub is independent of DTU. Its services do not guarantee eligibility, shortlisting or appointment.
