Fully Funded DDEA PhD, Postdoctoral, and Visiting Research Grants in Denmark – 2025 Cycle
Overview of DDEA Research Funding Programs (2025)
The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) continues its commitment to strengthening Denmark’s leadership in life sciences through its 2025 grant cycle. This year’s call provides structured funding opportunities across three major tracks:
PhD Scholarships (2 years of a 3-year doctoral program)
Postdoctoral Fellowships (2 years)
Visiting Researcher Grants (short-term academic stays)
Each grant type supports high-quality research in diabetes, metabolism, and endocrinology, with a focus on both fundamental and translational science. The DDEA aims to foster strong academic-industry collaboration and international knowledge exchange to accelerate medical innovation in these critical domains [1].
The DDEA 2025 funding cycle offers three robust and well-structured grant pathways for advancing research in diabetes and endocrine sciences in Denmark. Whether you are a Master’s degree holder aiming to pursue a doctoral program, an early-career postdoctoral researcher looking for institutional backing, or an international academic seeking collaborative exposure, these grants provide generous financial support, structured research environments, and international mobility. Applications close in August 2025, with funding outcomes anticipated by November.
