EUI Jean Monnet Fellowships 2027–28

Eligibility
- Applicants must have obtained their doctorate more than five years before the fellowship starts.

Research Fit with the Robert Schuman Centre
Selection is not based simply on having a strong CV. EUI evaluates whether the proposed project fits the research themes, programmes and projects of the Robert Schuman Centre.
Projects can span areas such as European governance, regulation, migration, economic and monetary policy, energy and climate policy, democracy, global affairs, law, digital policy and other subjects closely connected to the Centre’s active research portfolio.

Selection Process
Jean Monnet Fellows are selected by the academic staff of the Robert Schuman Centre, with nominations approved by the EUI Executive Committee.
The core selection criteria are:
- the applicant’s CV and research record;
- the overall scientific quality of the proposal; and
- the fit of the proposal with the RSCAS research programme.
