Role Summary and Expectations
The appointed Project Scientist will be embedded within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and will work closely with principal investigators and research teams to advance high-impact scientific studies.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
Designing, executing, and analyzing complex experiments aligned with ongoing lab projects.
Contributing to and/or leading peer-reviewed publications.
Collaborating on research grant applications, particularly federal and foundation proposals.
Overseeing research compliance, lab safety protocols, and instrument operations.
Mentoring graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and lab personnel.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must demonstrate:
